A little update

 A little life update… 💚

Hello lovely people,

I thought I’d pop on with a little update, as things have been rather quiet on the crafting front lately. Life has been keeping us busy, although sadly without much glitter or ink involved!

Our beautiful Anya, my beloved border collie, has been to the veterinary hospital after masses were found on her liver and spleen. She’ll need to have her spleen removed, so there’s been a lot to take in and plenty on our minds. We’re taking things one step at a time while we work through the next steps with her veterinary team.

Anya turned 11 in September, and anyone who knows me knows how much she means to us. She’s such a huge part of our family—my beautiful girl and a very much loved companion. It’s hard when our animals are unwell and we can’t explain everything to them, but there’s certainly no shortage of love around her.

To add to the fun, we’ve also come down with Covid. Honestly, I would have preferred a delivery of craft supplies! Between feeling poorly and everything happening with Anya, I haven’t had much energy or headspace for creating.

The ideas are still there, though. My imagination clearly didn’t get the memo about resting, even if the rest of me would quite like a nap! For now, I’m letting the crafting happen when I feel up to it, without putting pressure on myself to keep producing something.

I do miss getting properly stuck into my stamps, inks and papers, and sharing my makes with you all. There’s something lovely about disappearing into a project for a while, and I’m looking forward to a little more of that as we feel better.

This isn’t quite the update I’d hoped to be writing, but it’s where we are just now: a quieter pace, looking after each other and giving our girl plenty of love.

Thank you for sticking around while things are a little slower here. Hopefully, before too long, I’ll have something crafty to share again—and probably an inky fingerprint somewhere it shouldn’t be.

Lots of love,
Sharon 💚
